Do You Offer An Uptime Guarantee?
We hold our hosting to a 99.9% uptime target, monitored actively - and we are honest about what that means. Your site runs on Google Cloud, whose hosting platform publishes its own 99.95% availability commitment, and we add active monitoring so issues are caught and acted on quickly, often before you would notice. What we deliberately do not do is sell a contractual uptime 'guarantee' backed by small service credits, because real availability depends on the whole chain - the platform, your domain and DNS, and email delivery - not on any one provider, and a few pounds of credit would never reflect a day's lost enquiries. We would rather earn your trust by keeping the site genuinely up and answering fast when something needs attention. If you ever need a formal availability arrangement for a larger project, we are happy to discuss what is realistic.
Where Is My Website's Data Stored?
Your site's static files are served from a global CDN on Google Cloud's network, edge-cached worldwide so they load quickly for every visitor - so the website itself is not tied to a single location. When someone submits your contact form, that processing runs in Google Cloud's London (UK) region, and the message is then delivered by a third-party email provider, which may process it outside the UK under the safeguards set out in our Privacy Notice. Our Managed Website Plan is £100 per month, which covers hosting on Google Cloud, automatic SSL, uptime monitoring, managed and independent backups, global delivery and up to six content changes a year. Additional changes are £50 each. The initial build is a separate one-off from £750. All prices are indicative, confirmed on a written quotation, and are the total payable. The Valacia one-page generator is priced separately, as a self-serve subscription from free.
What Does The Website Care Plan Include?
The Managed Website Plan is a complete website care plan: we host your site on Google Cloud, keep the SSL certificate renewed, monitor that it stays online, take managed and independent backups, and make up to six content changes a year for you.
